Lauren Wintle

Lauren has always been interested in words. As a child, she was always reading. She used to read the back of the cereal box at the breakfast table in the absence of a good book!

During her university years, this interest in reading and words lead to a natural progression of joining the university student newspaper as a copy editor. Lauren spent 3 years working as the head copy editor of the university newspaper and began looking into the world of freelance editing.

Since then, Lauren has worked as a legal assistant, an administrative assistant, and currently work as a quality assurance manager at an aviation company, where she is responsible for writing and editing various company manuals. Over the years, she has taken various courses in editing through Okanagan College and Simon Fraser University. 

Lauren is most interested in editing fiction books of the following genres: fantasy fiction novels (including YA fantasy, adult fantasy, urban fantasy, modern fantasy, high fantasy, romantasy), romance novels (including romantasy), and coming of age novels.

When Lauren isn’t reading, she can be found at the local circus (really!).
