An Editors Canada member has requested that we share that a new version of the Canadian standard on translation is now available for public comment. This new version makes it clear that the standard does not apply to editing and proofreading, which should open up more government contracts for English-language editors. The deadline for comments is December 1. Request a copy and comment on the scope:
