In April 2022, we were delighted to announce we had partnered with Apollo Insurance to offer professional liability for Editors Canada members. We’re very happy with the partnership, but one shortcoming is that Apollo’s product is available in all Canadian provinces and territories, except Quebec.
Editors Canada is committed to providing member services throughout the association. With that in mind, the national executive council (NEC) has struck a member insurance task force to research options for members in Quebec.
Here’s what the task force will be working on:
Phase 1
- research and analysis of the current situation
- recommendations to the NEC
Phase 2 (if required)
- research into insurance companies
- recommendations to the NEC/executive director about who to use
