Eric Jandciu

Eric Jandciu has nearly two decades of experience supporting authors with structural, stylistic, and copy editing. As a senior technical editor and writer for a large consulting firm, he has worked on technical reports, annual reports, proposals, and environmental assessments in a variety of disciplines including mining, transportation, and nuclear energy. He copy edits books, chapters, and journal articles in a variety of scientific disciplines for international academic publishers. For educational publishers, Eric has developed high school textbook content, digital content including alt text, and teacher resources. With both a science and journalism background, Eric has delivered seminars and workshops on communicating science to broad audiences, including those without technical expertise. He is also an instructor with the Technical Commuication Certificate program at Simon Fraser University and has co-developed courses at the University of British Columbia that incorporate more communication training in the undergraduate science curriculum.
