Profile
Non-fiction and academic freelance editor with more than 40
years of non-fiction publishing, in trade and scholarly books, with an emphasis on Africa. My clients include the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa
(CODESRIA) and Brill Publishers, for whom I edit books and journal articles, such as for Africa Review and Diaspora
Studies. I have also edited books in Brill’s Africa
Multiple Series. I edit and proofread scholarly work in the
Humanities in general, and offer developmental and structural editing.
I am fluent in French and have intermediate-level Italian
and Afrikaans.
