I was a published academic researcher but after five years of teaching global environmental politics, international development, and political philosophy, I took a leap from researching energy futures to building them with community solar and wind energy projects.

For the last decade I’ve written and edited newsletters, policy briefs, environmental reports, investor documents, contracts, and educational materials on the energy transition, solar installations, green hydrogen, and project financing in developing countries.

My editing focus is on helping academic authors develop and refine their trade books, textbooks, and online courses.

I’ve trained with Simon Fraser University, the CIEP (UK), and Editors Canada on proofreading, copyediting, and developmental editing – skills I hardly knew I needed as an academic. Please reach out anytime to discuss your project needs.
