Alan Kerr

With a background in molecular biology, genetics, and bioinformatics, I have decades of experience in structural, stylistic, and copy editing, proofreading, and rewriting of scientific, medical, and other technical research papers for publication. In addition, I specialize in Canadian tri-agency (CIHR, NSERC, and SSHRC) funding applications. I have a broad engagement with the physical sciences literature, including biology, chemistry, physics, and geoscience, as well as computer systems documentation and technical writing.

Having worked as a molecular biologist and bioinformatician in academic research environments, I know the importance of timely publication, and would love to help with writing and editing your manuscripts for publication, grants and other funding applications, and thesis preparation.
