Alexia Moyer was an FRQSC Postdoctoral Fellow with McGill’s Institute for the Study of Canada and McGill’s Department of English. She holds a Ph.D. in études anglaises from Université de Montréal, an MA and BA (honours) in English with French from Western University. She co-manages Canadian Food Studies / La Revue canadienne des etudes sur l’alimentation du Canada. She has worked as managing editor of CuiZine: the Journal of Canadian Food Cultures / revue des cultures culinaires au Canada, a peer-reviewed open access e-journal published by McGill Library. She runs an editorial collective called redline-lignerouge.
Alexia has edited a broad range of writings, from grant applications, research articles, special journal issues, conference proceedings and monographs in the fields of literature, architecture, political science, law, ethnomusicology, and music technology. She has translated menus and recipes as well as research articles. She has edited memoirs and novels. All this to say, Alexia has a keen interest in writing and in helping others to find le mot juste.
