I graduated from the Creative Writing & Publishing degree program at Sheridan College in 2024 after focusing for four years primarily on editing and publishing. I also have a Professional Writing diploma from Algonquin College, where I truly picked up my love of copy editing. Currently working at my local Long and McQuade, I’ve had the potential to work with musicians and more noisy methods of communication. I have a passion for the methodical practice that music takes, but I also appreciate debates about the Oxford comma and run-on sentences.
Quick to grasp voice, I prefer to ask clients about their vision for their work and help guide them towards achieving it. Whether I am copy editing or helping with substantive edits, I always try to come up with new and interesting ways to approach what’s on the page.
