Aysha Davis

I’m a professional wordsmith aiming to help you go from writer to published author.

My love of stories began at a young age. Some of my earliest memories are of the adventures I had within the pages of a book. Since then, I have read everything I can get my hands on. Morally gray characters and suspense hold a special place in my heart. My passion for reading and analyzing stories evolved into my enthusiasm for developing and polishing stories. Over time, these passions have grown into Alpha Edits. My goal at Alpha Edits is to help make your manuscript work for you.

I graduated from Purdue University, where I majored in Biochemistry. Then, I received the Poynter & ACES Certificate in Editing. I am pursuing further continuing education in the Editing Certificate programs through the University of Chicago Graham School and Story Grid.

Professionally, I have experience in project management over scientific disclosures at a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company. In this partnership, I manage and edit proposals for the publishing plan.

In my free time, you can find me pining over puppy pictures, reading your published novel, and traveling the world.
