Seven Crows is an academic editing company. Owner/editor Claire Hooker also coaches academic writers to develop their writing and editing skills, habits and confidence. Claire has 15+ years of experience editing, coaching, and teaching / public speaking, mostly at Queen’s University, Kingston; she has also taught WRIT 265 (Editing in Academic and Professional Contexts) at Queen’s University, Kingston. She is ethical, positive, and supportive, and she wants to help her clients succeed.
Seven Crows welcomes all doctoral students and professional academics in all disciplines, including those who work in government research positions. Claire works collaboratively and respectfully with clients of diverse identities, and is experienced in working with people who have English as an additional language.
