Fendi Liu

I’m an editor and writer with a passion for storytelling.

My life revolves around my appreciation of the arts and love of stories—whether that is in the form of novels, film, theatre, music, animation, manga and graphic novels, poetry, video games, or fine arts—and you would find me zealously consuming content in one medium or another during my free time. I have a background in architecture design and have completed the Editing Certificate program at Simon Fraser University.

I offer services in all stages of editing, from structural and developmental, stylistic and mechanical, to proofreading. Some of the genres I work with include adult and YA romance, sci-fi, fantasy, and poetry, as well as creative non-fiction, such as biographies and memoirs. I am open to and would be happy to work with most story forms and mediums listed above!

I also have an affection for graphics and print material that stemmed from my education in design; and I would love to work with businesses and non-profits to produce and refine their materials, both for internal and external consumption. This includes and is not limited to blogs, brochures, manuals, newsletters, and websites.

All stories deserve to be told, regardless of who tells them or who they’re about. I am passionate about supporting diverse representation in media, and would be honoured to work with BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, disabled, and neurodivergent creators.
