You’ve found a rare
proofreader and editor with professional experience in several niches of
hands-on fabrication. One who can help foster clarity for information you wish
to share with your audience—from a DIY blog to company training procedures. I’m
as passionate about written communication as I am working with my hands and have
cultivated a bridge between the two. 

With a BFA degree specializing
in glassblowing and a Red Seal Journeyman Welder certification, I developed a
practical grasp of what’s necessary to communicate a process for desired results.
Between those trials by fire, I was a registered dental technician with
versatile lab experience. Around all of that, I led a double life exploring
freelance writing and editing specializing in the visual arts, but also
focusing on food and drink projects. I even provided art direction on a series
of craft beer labels.

My penchant for
process is ideal for instructional materials, and as an experienced cook I am
partial towards working on recipes and cookbooks. While my transferable
experience caters to non-fiction and technical material, I also welcome
copyediting/proofreading for speculative and general fiction manuscripts, plus
creative non-fiction. I’m also open to interesting projects that may slip
