Hello! As a trained editor and indie author, I understand how daunting the editing process can be. My goal is not only to have my clients feeling confident in putting their work out into the world, but feeling cared for during the editing process itself.

I’m specialized in editing novels (primarily fantasy, sci-fi, and most romance), poetry, and picture books. Trained in prose, rhyming verse, free verse, and Chicago Manual of Style conventions, I’ll help you get your project one step closer to print-ready.

For novels, I offer:

–       Copy editing (including line editing)

–       Proofreading

–       Best fits: fantasy, sci-fi, most romance

–       Not the right fit for: dark romance, horror, or religious fiction

For poetry (individual poems and collections), I offer:

–       Developmental editing

–       Copy editing (including line editing)

–       Proofreading

–       Collection organization, where I help determine what poems should be included and in what order

For picture books, I offer:

–       Developmental editing (if it’s a rhyming book, structure gets looked at here)

–       Copy editing (including line editing)

–       Proofreading

Note that while line editing is included with copy editing, a request can be made for it to be copy editing only.
