Laurie Milner

 I am a freelance editor and writing coach with a PhD in Art History (Northwestern University) and over 30 years experience working with academics, writers, artists, museums and publishers on a wide range of scholarly, creative and hybrid texts. I work closely with my clients to achieve a fine integration of the technical, conceptual and artistic aspects of their work. As a scholar with broad interdisciplinary knowledge, I understand the complexity of thought in academic argumentation and the importance of nuance in cultural communication. I am particularly sensitive to the unique challenges of giving voice to non-verbal forms of creative practice. I am also a university professor.
