Editor Profile

Leïta Boucicaut

Profile

Hello! My name is Leïta (Lay-ee-ta), and I work as an editor in both the literary and corporate worlds. Though I’m a big picture editor who deeply enjoys developmental editing, I can also get down to the nitty gritty with grammar, punctuation and spelling. My speciality is editing non-fiction books that include memoir, self-help and business. I also enjoy—and have edited—fiction novels of all kinds. What is important is helping you convey your message in the most effective way possible, whether is it creative writing or business communications.

On a corporate level, I have edited websites, press releases, flyers and newspapers, but I have also written articles and blog posts for various companies, making me quite versatile.

I have a dual degree in creative writing and English literature, as well as a graduate diploma in journalism. Both diplomas are from Concordia University. I’m also fluent in French and can edit texts that were translated from the French, ensuring a smooth transition between the two languages.

I invite you to contact me for a free 30-minute consultation where we can discuss your needs and see whether we are a good fit!
