Profile

When I was growing up, my dad had a quote posted above the desk in his office.

“If I am not clear, then the world around me collapses.”

A self-described wordsmith, Dad spent his life honing his craft. He wrote short stories for mystery magazines, a weekly column for the community newspaper, and at least one unpublished novel.

And he never gave up on his dream of being a newspaper editor.

I like to think I picked up where he left off.

After a brief career as an editor at the biggest newsroom in Western Canada, I left the newspaper industry.

But I took with me the lessons I learned there.

Facts matter. Deadlines matter. And yes, clarity matters.

No matter what you’re writing, I have the background, avidity, and meticulousness needed to help make it the best it can be.

I look forward to working with you.
