I am a professional editor and writer who is passionate about language, literature, culture, and travel. My specializations are non-fiction, business communication, and writing by ESL and EFL professionals and students. As a certified Alberta K-12 teacher, I enjoy working with curriculum and with academic writing.

In the past 33 years I have worked extensively with people from a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I started my career by teaching adult ESL in Japan for 3 years and Calgary for 8 years. My teaching background also includes 16 years of instructional design (writing, designing, and editing online high school and professional development courses) and teaching online high school English Language Arts, Social Studies, and options.

I do all levels of editing (structural, stylistic, copy editing) as well as proofreading. I have edited a variety of texts over the years including memoir, business books, how-to books and guides. I’ve also edited and taught high beginner to advanced ESL personal, business, and academic writing.
