I’m a professional editor and writer who helps authors like you connect with readers through the power of clean, clear, and compelling prose. I edit in a variety of fiction genres, and also take on select non-fiction editing projects. As a writer and editor, I am uniquely positioned to help you edit your novel, story, or article before publication, and assist with the writing and editing of content for your author business (including website text, email newsletters, blog posts, grant applications, and more).   

I know how important it is for you to work with an editor who respects your voice and your vision for your writing. I trained as an editor through the Simon Fraser University Editing Certificate program (2022), and also hold a BA in English Literature from McGill University (2010). I’ve been editing professionally since December 2021, but my experience critiquing fiction stretches back to 2015. I am always seeking new opportunities to work with words. I’ve held positions as an English tutor, a literary agent’s assistant, and an admin for an international writers’ conference. I continue to hone my language skills today as a first reader for Flash Fiction Online and as professional development co-chair for Editors BC.
