I am an experienced editor of nonfiction books, articles, and dissertations whose work history combines an extensive grounding in graduate-level writing and research with seven years’ experience as a freelance copy editor of both academic (history, political science, sociology, film studies) and trade (memoir, reportage, travel writing) manuscripts for a variety of university presses in Canada and the UK. I am familiar with various citation styles, dictionaries, and style guides, and I provide a full range of editorial services, from copy editing and proofreading to structural and stylistic editing.
