Non-fiction and academic freelance editor with more than 40
years of non-fiction publishing, in trade and scholarly books. My clients include the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa
(CODESRIA) and Brill Publishers, for whom I edit books and journal articles, such as for Africa Review and Diaspora
Studies. I have also edited books in Brill’s Africa
Multiple Series. I edit and proofread scholarly work in the
Humanities in general, and offer developmental and structural editing.
I am fluent in French and have intermediate-level Italian
and Afrikaans.
