I am an academic and technical editor, specializing in scientific, technical, and ESL editing. I have been writing and editing throughout my whole career, first as a scientist and now as a freelance consultant. 

I work with academic researchers, graduate students, and other authors to create clear and concise documents. My background in microbiology, chemistry, and molecular biology means I am familiar with scientific terminology, and can provide commentary on your science as well as helping you with language. I work extensively with ESL researchers to prepare grant applications or manuscripts for submission to academic journals.

​Stylistic Editing: Editing to clarify meaning, ensure coherence and flow, and refine the language. 

​Structural Editing: Assessing and shaping draft material to improve its organization and content. Changes may be suggested to or drafted for the writer. This may also include length reduction.
