John Eerkes-Medrano Mentorship Program
The John Eerkes-Medrano Mentorship Program offers editors the opportunity to participate in one-on-one mentoring relationships. Mentorship is currently available exclusively to Editors Canada members and student affiliates.
As a mentor, you have the opportunity to:
- give back to the association and the editing community
- develop your personal leadership, communication and coaching styles
- reflect on your goals and practices
- extend your knowledge and expertise
- expose yourself to new perspectives, ideas and approaches
- expand your professional network
- enhance your professional development record

Volunteer with us
The mentorship committee is looking for volunteers with an interest in arts programming, marketing and content creation to help with upcoming committee initiatives. This is a great opportunity to strengthen your skill set and get involved with your peers. Please note that only members of Editors Canada have access to volunteer opportunities within the association.
