Editors Canada is pleased to announce the launch of the Career Development Hub, or the Hub—a central aggregate site of helpful internal and external resources for editors at all stages of their career and in all fields. The Hub is dynamic, regularly updated to provide members and student affiliates with current, practical tools.
The Hub is where you will find quick access to the links most used by members: the National Job Board, Canadian Oxford Dictionary, The Chicago Manual of Style, Oxford Reference and Professional Editorial Standards.
What began as a small idea at the 2012 Editors Canada annual general meeting has finally been realized! Follow the journey in this blog post in The Editors’ Weekly.
Visit the Hub now
Head to career.editors.ca to check out the Hub now.
Please note that career.editors.ca and editors.ca are separate websites. To access the members-only content on the Hub, you will need to either log out of editors.ca first or use a separate browser.
Feedback
If you use resources that would benefit the Hub or if you notice any technical issues, the career builder committee welcomes your feedback through the contact form on the Hub’s home page.
Editors Canada members have contributed a vast wealth of knowledge to the organization, and we are thrilled to showcase it, among other external resources, in one easy-to-navigate space.
