Have you Googled your own name and wondered why your listing in the Editors Canada Online Directory of Editors (ODE) isn’t showing up in the search results? You’re not alone! But there’s something you can do about it.

In a recent post in BoldFace, the Editors Toronto blog, branch member Carla DeSantis shares practical, hard-won tips for boosting the visibility of your Online Directory of Editors listing in search results, from building strong internal and external links to crafting rich, keyword-conscious content that search engines will actually prioritize.

Drawing on real feedback from members at a recent meeting of the Editors’ Vine and her own months-long experience getting her profile to rank, Carla breaks down exactly what helps (and what doesn’t) when it comes to search engine optimization for your directory listing. If you want your ODE listing to work for you, this is a must-read. Check it out on BoldFace today!
